Looking for ways to support research while helping scientists better understand how children learn and grow?
The Center for Children and Families at UT Dallas is currently recruiting families for a variety of child development studies. Depending on the study, families may receive compensation, developmental reports, books, toys, and other resources.
Studies are available for:
- Babies and toddlers
- Children ages 4–9
- Children ages 9–12
- Teens ages 13–16
- Children on the autism spectrum
- Mandarin-English bilingual families
- Parents and children participating together
Some studies involve reading books together, language development, communication, social-emotional development, and learning. Many are play-based and designed to be family-friendly.
Compensation Varies by Study
Depending on the study, families may receive gift cards or compensation ranging from $10 to $375. Some studies also provide developmental reports, books, and small toys.
Why We Thought This Was Worth Sharing
Weekend Sprout is all about helping Dallas families discover resources, activities, and opportunities they might not otherwise hear about. While this isn’t an event, it may be a great fit for families interested in supporting research, learning more about child development, or participating in studies with their children.
