Avy’s Sunshine Kite Festival (3rd Annual)

Join the community for a day of remembrance, connection, and joy at the 3rd Annual Avy’s Sunshine Kite Festival.
This free family-friendly event invites attendees to decorate and fly kites in honor of loved ones while celebrating community through art, music, play, and shared experiences. Throughout the day, the sky will fill with colorful kites as families enjoy activities, community resources, food, and opportunities to connect with others.
Whether you’re attending to honor someone special, support the community, or simply enjoy a meaningful day outdoors, everyone is welcome.
Hosted by Avy’s Sunshine Tribe, the festival also supports the nonprofit’s mission to build the first inclusive community playground in the Cedars neighborhood in memory of Aveline “Avy” Lucille.
